How is the Design developed?

INDIVIDUAL INTERIOR DESIGN

Why do you need a design if you have everything covered in your head?

And yet, it is definitely worth putting the needs, desires and expectations regarding your dream interior on paper. Gather all the ideas, write them down and analyse them, not forgetting about the other members of your household, in order to find the best solutions for your interior, that are:

  • functional,
  • attractive,
  • comfortable, prestigious and original,
  • and what's important - within your budget possibilities - because dreams need a plan for implementation and a good design!

LUXURY INTERIOR DESIGN

Before creating a complete design, the designer will perform a number of tasks, step by step:

  1. they will examine your and your family's needs - will ask many questions, often the importance of which you do not realise. On this basis, a house concept is developed, which defines how the interiors will be used and by whom. A house concept for a family with small children is different from that for a couple with a busy social life or for people who work from home;
  2. they will analyse plans and existing technical documentation of the building;
  3. they will carry out an inventory - if it is an existing building. Will take the necessary measurements, assess the electrical and plumbing systems, and evaluate the existing functional layout. The inventory is a basis for further design work;
  4. they will suggest solutions in 2D functional layout, i.e. on the plan view of the rooms - which includes the functions, arrangement of furniture, communication routes, ergonomics of the rooms;
  5. they will develop a concept with visualizations of individual rooms (visualizations are photorealistic computer graphics showing the designed rooms in detail), which will allow you to assess whether the vision proposed by the designer is consistent with your vision;
  6. they will develop a moodboard, i.e. your individual board with samples of materials, colours, photos of selected furniture, details and decorations. The moodboard will familiarise you with textures, materials and colour combinations, making it easier for you to make decisions about specific furnishing details;
  7. they will prepare technical documentation and detailed designs, drawings for subcontractors, designs of custom furniture, designs of finishing details such as stucco;
  8. they will prepare a list of equipment and finishing materials together with their quantities. This will be a list of purchases that allows you to control the budget and make purchases in accordance with the implementation schedule. The furnishings list includes in particular:
    • finishing materials such as wallpaper, stone cladding, tiles, parquet flooring, baseboards, stucco etc., together with quantities;
    • list of lighting and electrical fixtures;
    • list of household appliances, ceramics and bathroom fittings;
    • detailed valuation of kitchen and other furniture fittings;
    • list of furniture and other furnishings such as carpets, curtains, roller blinds.
